This page summarizes the terms that apply to a CostBleed engagement. It is a summary for orientation, not the full agreement, and not legal advice.
Scope of service
CostBleed provides cost assurance, evidence intelligence and structured decision support on the package you engage us for. It does not provide legal advice, does not issue a formal contractual certification, and does not perform adjudication or arbitration. It does not replace your appointed quantity surveyor, contract administrator or solicitor.
Rights to the documents you provide
By submitting a document, you confirm you are authorized to provide it for review, including documents originally produced by a consultant, contractor or other third party. You remain responsible for any restriction that applies to a document you did not author.
Confidentiality
Engagements begin under NDA. Documents and findings are treated as confidential and are used only for the purpose of the engagement they were provided for.
How findings are presented
A finding describes what the documents reviewed do and do not currently support. It is not, and should not be read as, an allegation about anyone’s conduct or intent.
Liability and reliance
The ProofPack is decision support for the person who reviews and approves it; it does not substitute for that person’s own judgment or for professional advice specific to your project and jurisdiction. Limitation of liability, insurance position and governing law are set out in the full engagement terms.

The complete engagement terms, data processing agreement and applicable governing law are provided and agreed before an engagement begins. Contact us to request them.
Requesting the full terms
Ask for the full engagement terms and data processing agreement when you request a Scan, and we will send them ahead of the NDA.
